NXT Taping Results *SPOILERS* March 8th – 22nd

SPOILERS AHEAD

Here are your NXT spoilers for last night’s TV Tapings.

March 8th Episode:

VIDEO: SAnity cuts a promo on the titon-tron from the woods in front of  a fire.  Eric talks about Tye Dillinger and how he’s drowing in his choices bringin his friends down with him. Eric Young says he wants to fight Tye Dillinger along, Nikki Cross cuts in saying that if not, the whole world will burn down!

IN RING: In the ring Elias Samson tries to sing a song to the NXT audience. Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) cuts him off and introduces himself.  Ohno fires off some word to Elias but he seems dissinterested and tries to sing his song once again. Ohno says that the whole singing thing isn’t working out. Elias comes back saying Ohno’s first NXT run didn’t work out as well. Ohno laughs and challenges Samson to a “loser leaves NXT” match. Elias accepts.

Tye Dillinger vs. Eric Young
Singles Match
Winner: No Contest

Before the match could begin, Eric sends off SAnity members to the back. But, they return with Roderick Strong who they laid out in the back. Tye runs up the ramp to check on Strong, and No Way Jose comes out as well to check on him. As officials carry off Strong, No Way Jose and Tye Dillinger run the ring, but get laid out by SAnity as the numbers game was too much.

Andrade “Cien” Almas vs. HoHo Lun
Singles match
Winner: Andrade “Cien” Almas

Kassius Ohno vs. Elias Samson
-Loser Leaves NXT-
Singles Match
Winner: Kassius Ohno

Following the match Elias walks up the ramp to the audience chanting “goodbye.” Kassius destroys Elias’s guitar in the ring.

Ember Moon vs. Billie Kay (w/ Peyton Royce)
Singles match
Winner: Ember Moon

Peyton tried to stop Ember as she climbed the top ropes, but backed down when EMber threatened to hit her. Ember hit her finisher on Billie and picked up the win. Following the match trainers ran out to check on Billie Kay. She managed to walk out on her own two feet, but was holding her neck and crying. It’s believed she may have suffered an injury.

The Revival vs. The Ealy Twins
Tag Team Match
Winners: No Contest

Before the match could even begin, The Authors of Pain attack the Ealy twins during their entrance. They go after Dash and Dawson, but they retreat. They hit one of the Ealy twins with their finisher and leave.

Tucker Knight & Otiz Dozovic vs. Mike Marshall & Jonathan Ortagun
Tag Team Match
Winners: Tucker Knight & Otiz Dozovic

Nikki Cross (w/ SAnitY) vs. Macey Estrella 
Singles match
Winner: Nikki Cross

Following the match Tye Dillinger and No Way Jose try and attack SAnitY but once again the numbers game is too much and both get laid out to end the first show.


March 11th Episode:

Andrade “Cien” Almas vs. Oney Lorcan
Singles match
Winner: Andrade “Cien” Almas

Match was said to be very good.

Asuka (c) vs. Priscilla Zuniga
Non-Title Singles Match
Winner: Asuka

Asuka used this match to send a message to Ember Moon. She was aggressive and wouldn’t let go of her submission finisher once she won the match. Asuka would then deliver a quick promo saying:

“HEY! LISTEN UP! Your future goes through me, there will be no Eclipse.”

The Ealy Twins vs. The Authors of Pain (c)
Non-Title Tag Team Match
Winners: The Authors of Pain

Following the match AOP deliver a promo where they say that The Revival have guts, but won’t beat AOP. Tommaso Ciampa and Gargano would make an appearance and say that they want a rematch for the NXT Tag Team Championship. Revival comes out and Dash says there’s three things you don’t do in sports: bench Tom Brady, pull Michael Jordan in the 4th, and keep Revival on the sidelines while the division falls apart. NXT General Manager William Regal comes out and books a Triple Threat Tag Team Match for the NXT Titles for NXT TakeOver: Orlando in 3 weeks.


March 22nd Episode

Dash Wilder vs. Johnny Gargano  vs. Akam (c) 
Triple Threat Match
Winner: Dash Wilder

Bobby Roode (c) vs. Kassius Ohno
-NXT Championship-
Singles match
Winner: Bobby Roode (retains)

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. TJ Perkins
Singles Match
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

Match was said to be a good back and forth with TJ selling a previously “injured” knee. Nakamura picks up the win and hugs TJ after the match and signals for the belt.

Bobby Roode would make an appearance and tells Nakamura to leave his ring and hit the bricks and that he  has friends. Andrade Almas would run the ring and attack Nakamura. Both would double team Nakamura, until the lights went out and Finn Balor made a surprise return. Finn manages to take out both Almas and Roode to a hot crowd. Finn cuts a promo after the match and says that he’ll be back for what’s his soon. He wishes Nakamura a happy birthday before saying “We Are NXT.”
