Based on reports, Anthem Sports & Entertainment are playing hard-ball when it comes to contract negotiations, and due to this many believe that more departures will be coming down the line from Impact Wrestling.
TNA officials have been contacting a bunch of their talents in recent weeks to try and lock them down to new contracts. If the talents don’t adhere to the new contracts quickly, they are likely to leave the company.
As reported, Anthem are trying to lock talents in a newly structured contract which would see talents be paid on a per-day instead of per-show basis, meaning if they tape three shows in one day, they get paid for the one day, and not the three shows. In addition Anthem has also requesting a 10% revenue share for any talents performing for another promotion who have a TNA contract at that time.
As of now, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Drew Galloway, Reby Hardy, Maria Kanellis, Mike Bennett, & Jade have left the company. Moose, EC3, Davey Richards, Eli Drake & Eddie Edwards have all re-signed with the company.
