It’s Time To Move On With MindofCarnage.com

“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths”
– Walt Disney

Yes that is a Walt Disney quote, and yes I feel that is sums up what I want to share.

So I wanted to provide an update to everyone who has supported MindofCarnage.com and who’s motivated me to continue to post news and recaps on a daily basis. You guys have been the best, and it comes with heavy heart to announce that MindofCarnage.com will be moving away from Wrestling news and recaps. To be honest, the reason is because it’s really hard to upkeep what’s happening in the world today when only one person is reporting it. Now I’ve done it for 2 years, and I’ve enjoyed it and have met several new fans who have made my experience amazing, but there comes a time when reviewing your product, you begin to realize that there’s a lot more you can do to make it stand out.

As some of you may know, I am an aspiring professional wrestler training out of Anthony Carelli’s (aka. Santino Marella) Battle Arts Academy in Mississauga Ontario. Here’s a latest pic of me during my debut match… which I lost, but that’s beyond the point!

I feel my experiences while trailing under Yuki Ishikawa, and learning the in-ring style from Anthony, is enough experience to share with you guys and to get you a different perspective into the wrestling business.

On top of that, I’ve been able to showcase new podcasts featuring Jaybone (Smash This Podcast), Wrestling With…, Ramblin’ About Wrestlin’ and more, who have provided their opinions in the business and overall thoughts on the products. I am proud to announce that they will remain with MindofCarnage.com as I plan on bringing you more unique content and not just news which can be found online anywhere. So moving forward, MOC will have more editorials, more point of views, more podcasts and overall a more unique experience on the site than just overall news. To be honest, I never actually wanted to transition to wrestling news, but somehow it happened and stuck for a while.

As time goes on, MOC will hold contests, competitions and whatever else I feel you guys will have fun with. I plan on making this a more exciting site to visit where you can talk and communicate with wrestling fans alike. In addition I also plan on revamping the MOCForums, which I never did anything with. Again it was one of those things that because I was covering the news and recaps, I never had enough time to work on the forums. But I plan on getting that going as well.

I appreciate the ongoing support you guys have given me, and couldn’t thank you enough. For the next few days there will be some changes coming to the site so don’t be surprised if it changed up. I truly hope you guys decide to stick around to see what MOC can become and help grow a community of wrestling fans that can talk, discuss, and share what’s on their minds. For we all are wrestling fans, and enjoy the Carnage that comes from it.

Alberto El Patron Talks Retiring In Two Years, Getting Married Soon & How WWE Is Bad For The Wrestling Business

Newly crowned Global Force Wrestling Champion, Alberto El Patron spoke to Justin Barraso of Extra Mustard’s Sports Illustrated and addressed multiple topics.

Here are the highlights:

Signing with Impact Wrestling & competing against guys like Bobby Lashley:

“I am so happy to work with Impact Wrestling. I have nothing but respect for them, unlike another company, who I don’t watch, I don’t follow and I don’t even look at their tweets. I have some real beef with some of the people in that company.”

“It’s rare to find someone with Bobby’s size and athleticism. He’s a fantastic performer and he is such a huge guy. He has a great psychology in the ring, the chemistry was there the moment the bell ring rang and it was a great experience working with him. I am very happy to work with Impact and talent like Bobby”

“I am excited to be with Impact Wrestling because I get to work with talents like EC3 again. I had the opportunity to be with him in FCW when we were in developmental in that other company. We worked together once when they were trying to make him a part of the main roster in WWE, then he went to Impact Wrestling and made a name for himself. He’s a good guy with a lot of talent and he’s fantastic on the microphone. The entire office went crazy for our promos and then it was easy in the ring. I’m happy to see the young talent is taking the torch to continue doing good stuff in the business.”

“I will stay in Impact as long as the fans want me there. They were so happy to have me there and treated me with a lot of respect. The office, talent, and staff are treated with respect by everyone, regardless of your position in the business.”

Alberto El Patron’s plans moving forward:

“I’m planning on retiring in two years. I’m still good to go and I don’t have any major injuries, but I always promised myself I would leave on top. I started wrestling when I was eight years old with the amateur wrestling team in Mexico. I love the business with all my heart, but my body is getting tired. It’s all the travel, I’m going to do my last two years with Impact Wrestling. I’ll continue to do some indie shows here and there and I have a lot of projects outside the business. I am going to continue running Combate Americas, the MMA company that I work for and I am going to start a soap opera in Mexico in two months. We also have a reality show produced by Combate Americas that was sold to Amazon. People should be able to see that in three more months.”

“I opened a restaurant and bar in San Antonio in November. We are the place to go on Fridays and Saturdays, God is blessing me, I’m getting married pretty soon. We changed the date twice, but we’re getting married in the last week of July, so I am keeping very busy outside the business.”

How WWE is hurting the wrestling business:

“It’s horrible for the business, but you cannot blame that company. That company is doing what a company is supposed to do, monopolize, get the best talent from everywhere, and try to destroy the competition. They’re smart, you cannot blame them. The problem is with the talent, just going there to be there with the promise of being on TV, but not even charging good money for your work, is not good business. We as wrestlers need to remember that this is a business. We started because we love the business and we stay in it because we have a lot of passion for it, but you have to be rewarded for your work. I was there and saw some of the main guys, new top heels and new top babyfaces, get paid nothing for their matches. The new talent joining NXT is taking pay cuts to work there, sometimes even 80 percent less, you need to be rewarded for your work in a business.”

Nikki Bella Talks On Why Brie Bella Had Such A Difficult Labor

WWE superstar Nikki Bella spoke with E! News to promote the new season for Total Bellas. During the interview she spoke about her sister Brie Bella and how she had such a difficult time giving birth.

Here’s what she had to say:

“She tried to go natural and it was like eight or 10 hours into it had to get an epidural and then in the end had to get a C-section. Her abs were too tight, go figure, Leave it to the WWE Superstar, abs too tight.”

“I mean, it’s definitely a struggle for women in the beginning and it should be. I saw what they put their bodies through and oh my gosh, I give all the moms in the world so much credit. That is not easy, labor. I think it takes minimum a week to heal from that.”

Davey Boy Smith Jr. Comments On The JBL And Mauro Ranallo Situation

During a recent interview with Hannibal TV, Harry Francis Smith (aka. Davey Boy Smith Jr) the son of WWE legend British Bulldog spoke on the issues surrounding JBL and Mauro Ranallo and the bullying allegations that followed against JBL.

Here’s what he had to say:

You know it’s tough to say, I know Mauro really well and he does take things personally. I know JBL has a reputation of being a bully and stuff like that. So i think it could be a combination of a couple of things, and really bottom line is Mauro’s got a lot of like, mental health issues and he’s been pretty open about that on Twitter and everything. So anybody with mental health issues pretty much shouldn’t work in WWE. I mean it’s not really the best work environment, just because of the stress and everything. I think that he probably took things personally. Probably JBL was hazing him a bit and he probably just said “screw this” and snapped and said “I’ve had enough of this and l’m leaving.” I’m actually surprised he lasted that long in the company, just because I know how things work. Mauro I know is a guy that’s just so passionate about the business and he’s almost passionate to a fault, you know what I mean.

I mean Mauro can leave WWE and he’s got his commentating for MMA and got all kind of stuff. He doesn’t really need that [WWE] place, but I am surprised he lasted that long to be honest.

To clear up my arrest, I had a ticket from 2 years ago, broken light & expired insurance ID card, took care of it but thanks to a typo, there was a bench warrant for me that I was completely unaware of. My car was having trouble, 3 police approached and asked for ID and I was taken in and paid $234 dollar fine and was released. A typo resulted in my arrest, and now I’ve spent time in the big house. LOL Be careful.
