Lilian Garcia’s Father Passes Away On Christmas Day

Former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia announced on Instagram that her father, Eduardo Garcia, who was battling bladder cancer and multiple myeloma, passed away on Christmas Day.

this is what she posted:

“On Christmas Day, heaven welcomed an extraordinary angel in my father, U.S. Army Retired Lt Colonel – Eduardo Garcia. My father fought the battle of his life against terminal cancer giving it all that he had. He was a true soldier to the very end. I’ve been questioning why my dad had to go on Christmas day but this morning, I realized what a truly special gift it was. My father loved Christ, so to go on Christ’s birthday is the biggest blessing ever! And as my father loved to sing and dance, a memory beautifully engrained forever in my mind will be that of the velvet ropes parting for him to join the glorious heavenly party! 🙏🏻 I feel so fortunate to have had so many amazing years with such and incredible man. He shared many special lessons with me. He taught me to be strong yet be ok with showing vulnerability, be happy yet don’t shy away from sadness, be yourself & always do it with pride, be organized yet be ok with a mess every now and then, go for your dreams – the sky is the limit, embrace failures as learning’s to succeed, be determined by jumping through challenges like an obstacle course, be compassionate to others and love with your whole heart even if that love doesn’t necessarily face you back, above all, don’t take life so seriously, so laugh, laugh, laugh and smile at the world a whole lot! 😀

My entire family truly thanks all of you for all your prayers along this tough journey. They made a HUGE difference!!

To honor him, we ask that, if your heart chooses, to please donate to Fisherhouse.org . Their mission is to provide a network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment. As a veteran, my father saw the importance of helping soldiers and their families who weren’t quite as fortunate as him, so my family is committed to continuing his cause.

Thank you dad for the honor and privilege of being your daughter and for the endless love you gave me. I already miss you so much but know that you will forever be in my heart! I salute you sir! We toast to you, our true inspiration!

Te amo papa!❤️”

Brie Bella Says WWE Producers Asked Her To Get Breast Implants

Brie Bella was the first guest on the debut episode of Lilian Garcia’s “Make their way to the ring” podcast. Here are the highlights from her appearance.

WWE Producers of Diva Search asking for the women to get breast implants:

“I understand they had to have some weird questions. But there were a couple I wasn’t too comfortable with. They talked about my breasts. I didn’t have big ones…They asked if I would allow them to pay for me to have a boob job. I literally stood on stage and I was looking around like, what? They were like, well you guys don’t have breasts. I’m like, I’m so confused what’s going on right now. But you know, they’re making TV.”

Daniel Bryan’s depression & getting emotional over it:

“The producers on Total Bellas and Total Divas would say, you never cry. I’m like, I don’t? They’re like, you get emotional but you really don’t cry. People really saw me cry for the first time on Total Bellas over Bryan’s depression. I was just very overwhelmed. But I think I’ve shed so many tears in my 20s that you just get to a place where you’re just like, this is life, you gotta roll with it. We live, we die and everything in between is what you make of it.”

Are you really retired?

“No. I definitely have to make a comeback. I’d never go on the road, because my child is number one. I would love to come back for a match. I would love it, especially if I can do it with my sister and have another match with her because we didn’t get that. My retirement, I always visualized my husband being by my side and being in the ring with my sister. I didn’t get either of those. So I would love something like that and I’ll see how I can get myself back into shape after.”

Lilian Garcia Starting Up Her Own Podcast

While appearing on Maria Menounos Sirius XM radio show, former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia revealed that she will be starting her own podcast labelled “Making their way down to the ring.” She also revealed that she will have a Spanish podcast as well named ‘Luchando Con Lilian Garcia.”

See what she had to say on the interview:

“I’ve worked with these amazing superstars, male, female, in the WWE and yet, a lot of them, I don’t really know all their story, their backstory, ah, their obstacles..Everybody, you know, thinks about the limelight, and the easy road, maybe that they’ve taken, or maybe they hear about the hard road, but they don’t really hear about the hard road. and so I called it, the first show is called “Making Their Way To The Ring”. It’s something that I actually used when I announced the wrestlers…But it takes on a whole different um idea here because the ring is really like the brass ring and it’s really the journey of making their way to what it is that they’re going for and, particularly, I really want to start with the wrestlers…Whether it’s a WWE, TNA, Independents.”

Lilian Garcia Comments on Her WWE Release Reports

As reported earlier today, during Thursday’s MLW Radio show former WWE Creative writer Court Bauer reported that Lilian Garcia was either quietly released from WWE or wasn’t signing a new deal. Since the announcement Bauer has issued several tweets apologizing for the mix-up with his source.

Lilian went to Facebook to comment on the report and says that she was surprised by report.

Imagine my surprise today when I woke up to find out that I was among the top trends in the world on twitter! What for, I said to myself….wait, does that say “Lilian Garcia released from WWE”?? That’s when I knew I had to set the story straight. As you know, I have been absent from TV for the past few weeks missing “WWE Payback” & two “WWE Monday Night Raw’s”. I mentioned on twitter that it was due to a family member being ill. Well, that family member is my father. He has been battling bladder cancer and multiple Myeloma (blood cancer) and due to a reaction to the chemotherapy, he became very ill these past two weeks. On top of that, he had to go into two emergency procedures on his kidneys. To say he has had it tough is an understatement. However, he is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the US Army, being a Veteran from the Korean and Vietnam Wars, so his spirit is that of a fighter. I am so inspired by how he has taken on this disease and continues to battle it with all his might. He has allowed me to share this story as he hopes his journey will inspire anyone else who is battling cancer. Luckily he is doing much better now and gearing up for a new treatment next week. As you can imagine, my entire family has been through a rollercoaster of emotions and cherishing all the time we have with him. I truly believe in the power of prayer and ask all of you to please pray for him and also my mother. They have been married for 62 years, so you can imagine the bond they share together.

I want to thank all of you for the many messages you have tweeted & FB’d me when you thought I had been released. It truly shows me how much I matter to you, and right now more than ever, I needed to know that. Above all, I want to thank the WWE for all their support & love during this hard time. They have been constantly checking in on me and also given me the time I needed to get my father strong again. I feel so proud to work for a company that cares so much.

So, on to Monday, I will be back on RAW and couldn’t be happier as I have missed you all very much!! Thank you and I love you!!!

Xoxo,
Lilian
