7:45PM: Get ready! RAW is 15 minutes away!

8:00PM: The show has begun! It kicks off with a recap of the brutal attack on Roman Reigns last week from Braun Stroman. After that, Braun Stroman comes out to the ring, live at Ohio State University this week. The commentary team this week is Corey Graves, Michael Cole and Booker T. On the mic, Braun Stroman brags about what he did to Roman last week. He says that Roman will not be at the event tonight. The crowd does yes chants for that.

Stroman says that tonight he will tear through the locker room. Kurt Angle walks to the ring and says that he shouldn’t do more, but Stroman says “there’s more to come”. Kurt Angle goes on to say that Reigns will face Stroman at the PPV Payback. Stroman shouts “what!?” in a high pitch voice to that.

Kurt Angle then says that tonight Braun will get a night off, but Braun insists to get something. Stroman says that he wants something tonight “or else”. Angle says “Or else what?”, then Braun drops the mic and leaves. Guess we will find out what the “or else” is.

The commentary team discusses what else is on tonight. Miz TV is later, and Chris Jericho vs Samoa Joe is after the break with Seth Rollins on commentary.

8:16PM: Samoa Joe vs Chris Jericho

As mentioned before, Seth Rollins is on the mic during this match. He is hyping his match against Samoa Joe at Payback in 3 weeks. Jericho hit a Lionsault but it got a kickout. Joe was on the second rope and went for some sort of splash but Jericho dodged it then tried for a Walls Of Jericho. He got out of it. He then put Jericho into the Coquina Clutch, which Jericho tried to fight out of, but Jericho eventually tapped.

After the match Joe cut a promo on Seth Rollins, who was standing on the ramp at this point. Seth walks back to the commentary table and stands on top it while he cuts a promo of his own. He ends it by saying “You know what they say, Payback is a bitch”.

8:26PM: Samoa Joe def. Chris Jericho

8:31PM: Backstage are the Golden Truth, who are walking on their way to a match. Out of nowhere comes Braun Stroman who demolishes R-Truth and Golddust.

8:36PM: A ref is backstage telling Stroman that he has the night off. The ref gets scared off by Stroman who stands his ground.

8:36PM: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs Enzo Amore and Big Cass

Gallows and Anderson were scheduled to face Golden Truth, but since they have been attacked, Gallows and Anderson have been left high and dry. Because of that, they are calling any team from back there. Enzo and Cass answer the call.

Enzo gets beat up for a long time then hot tags Cass in against Anderson. He hits an Empire Elbow then a Big Boot. Enzo gets tagged in. Gallows gets big booted out of the ring. Enzo goes for something but Anderson reverses by throwing Enzo into the corner then pinning him.

8:51PM: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson def. Enzo Amore and Big Cass

8:58PM: It’s time for another instalment of MizTV. The first MizTV on RAW in a long time. As The Miz was going through the usual introduction, Dean Ambrose rudely cuts him off. Before he even gets introduced, Dean is on the set of MizTV. Dean banters with the crowd and The Miz does not enjoy it. Both wrestlers exchange decent promos, then Maryse says the old saying of “The Championship doesn’t make the man, the man makes the championship”. After that, Dean attacks Miz. Maryse throws a mic to Dean’s back which stuns him. Miz tries for a Skull Crushing Final but Dean tries to reverse it into a Dirty Deeds. When he tries for the move, Miz escapes. The segment overall was very good.

9:08PM: We go backstage and see that Braun Stroman has beaten up Kalisto. Big Show blindsides Braun and says “Why don’t you pick on someone your own size!”. That ends the segment.

9:13PM: TJ Perkins vs Jack Gallagher

We got some Cruiserweight action now! TJ Perkins is facing Jack Gallagher. Before the match starts, they introduce Neville to ringside. Austin Aries also comes out but he comes out with a mic. He invited himself to ringside. As usual in this match Jack Gallagher does his Mary Poppins spot with the umbrella diving to the outside.

As this match was underway Neville attacked Austin Aries at ringside. As the ref was shouting at Neville, TJP kicks the middle rope into Gallaghers head then hits the Detonation kick for the win.

9:29PM: TJ Perkins def Jack Gallagher

9:37PM: Backstage The Hardys are being interviewed. Sheamus and Cesaro walk into the frame and say that they welcome them to WWE. Cesaro also mentions his 1-on-1 match with Matt later.

9:44PM: Sasha Banks vs Alexa Bliss vs Mickie James vs Nia Jax (#1 Contenders Match)

We need to crown the new #1 contender for the RAW Women’s Championship now that RAW has gotten some new arrivals via the Superstar Shakeup. This match had lots of great spots. When we came back from the break, Nia was slamming people on top of other people, stacking them like pancakes. Sasha Banks tried for a sleeper on Nia, but Jax slammed her down brutally instead. For quite some time in this match Nia was cleaning house. It came to a stop when Mickie James put Jax into an armbar. But Jax escaped it and continued her attack. She charged at Banks and James in the corner, but both dodged and she hit the post. Alexa comes in and throws Banks out of the ring, and starts fighting with Mickie James.

James calls for a move but Sasha comes in and interrupts it. Banks hits the double knees on Bliss and goes for the pin, but Jax pulls her out of the ring during the pin. The ring is now just Alexa and Banks. Alexa gets put in the Bank Statement. Mickie James interrupts it. The two trade punches. The two start trading blows on the top rope. Jax comes in and Samoa Drops Banks. Bliss kicks Nia out of the ring and pins Banks instead. Alexa Bliss wins the match and becomes new #1 contender.

10:02PM: Alex Bliss def. Sasha Banks, Mickie James and Nia Jax to become new RAW Women’s Championship #1 Contender

10:08PM: Curt Hawkins vs Finn Balor

Curt Hawkins is in the ring and does another open challenge. Finn Balor answers his challenge. As you expect, Finn Balor wins in under a minute.

10:12PM: Finn Balor def. Curt Hawkins

10:24PM: Chris Jericho gets interviewed backstage and Bray Wyatt cuts a promo about his “House of Horrors” match.

10:32PM: We see Alicia Fox showing Dana Brooke a photo of when the powder got on her during 205 Live. Emma comes into shot and says that Dana had been joking about that all day. Alicia gets offended and says “I don’t want to be your friend anymore”. Ouch.

10:33PM: Cesaro vs Jeff Hardy

This 1-on-1 match is to hype up the tag title match at the Payback PPV, where Sheamus and Cesaro will face The Hardy Boyz. Jeff Hardy tried to go to the top rope during this match but he ate an Uppercut instead. Jeff Hardy throws Cesaros legs onto the top rope then dropkicks him to the outside. Jeff reverses something with a Twist of Fate, then hits Cesaro with a Swanton Bomb for the win.

10:47PM: Jeff Hardy def. Cesaro

10:50PM: A medical report was being delivered from backstage but the reporter gets interrupted by Heath Slater and Rhyno. Slater cutting a promo, but he stops in fear when Stroman walks by him.

10:57PM: Braun Stroman vs Big Show

It’s time for our main event of the evening, Stroman versus Big Show. As Show is making his entrance, Stroman charges at him and they brawl outside the ring before the match even starts. Big Show delivers a nice slam to Stroman when they get back into the ring. He tries for a chokeslam but Stroman reverses. Braun Stroman jumps off the top rope but gets hit by a Chokeslam. Stroman kicks out. Stroman climbs to the top rope, but Big Show goes to the top rope and tries for a Superplex. Stroman reverses. Stroman jumps off the rope again but this time Big Show hits him with a Knockout punch. Stroman kicks out again. They both go to the top rope again. Stroman hits a Superplex and the ring breaks. The match never ends, but Braun celebrates as Medical Staff attend to Big Show.

11:13PM: Braun Stroman vs Big Show ends in a tie.

That ends the show! Thanks for reading!

The recap updates live so make sure to refresh the page, as does the highlights; but those may be delayed depending if WWE uploads them on time or no.

So let’s get this quick recap on the go.

Raw Pre-Show:

Announced Segments here.

OPENER: Raw opens with an in-ring promo segment with Goldberg. Heyman interrupts him and both hype the upcoming match against Brock Lesnar & Goldberg at Survivor Series on November 20th. Heyman would tease Lesnar is in the arena but in the end was trolling the audience. Goldberg would try to get in Heyman’s face when Rusev interrupts. Rusev rips on Goldberg. Rusev would also try to attack Goldberg but in the end get the Jackhammer. Goldberg would end the segment spearing Paul Heyman and standing tall.

Announcers: They recap the Universal Championship match from Hell in a Cell. Mick Foley will address the controversy from the match tonight. A Trick or Street fight is also announced for Raw pinning Luke Gallows  vs. Enzo

Luke Gallows (w/Karl Anderson) vs. Enzo (w/Big Cass)
Trick or Street Fight

A very Halloween gimmick match with Pumpkins used as weapons and Halloween props. Enzo would pick up the win via pinfall following a top rope DDT to Luke Gallows as he wore a pumpkin on his head. That should explain how this match was just for entertainment purposes.

Winner: Enzo

Backstage: Paul Heyman is loaded into an ambulance following the spear from Goldberg.

TJ Perkins vs. Brian Kendrick (c)
-WWE Cruiserweight Championship-
Hell in a Cell PPV Rematch

Kendrick delivers a promo during his entrance telling TJ that he has a plan to retain the Cruiserweight championship.

TJ Perkins would go on to win the match via count-out as Brian purposely remained on the outside as the ref counted to 10. Brian retains his championship. TJ would attack Brian after the match and lock in his leg lock until refs break him apart.

Winner: TJ Perkins via Count out (Brian Kendrick retains)

Backstage: Mick Foley is backstage talking about the Negan character from Walking Dead. Braun comes in demanding a bigger challenge and threatens to destroy half the roster. Foley says tonight there will be a battle royal to determine a member for the Raw team at Survivor Series. Braun is now entered, because for some reason Raw GM didn’t have him in in the first place…. LOGIC!

Announcers: The announce WWE winning W3 awards. Check the article here.

VIDEO: Emmalina to debut soon

In Ring: Mick shares his appreciation to all talents who competed at Hell in a Cell, except for Jericho who’s interference in the Universal title match left a bad taste in Foley’s mouth. Not hard to do.

Jericho and Owens would interrupt Foley. They mock Mick Foley and say that the true problem Mick has is that Owens was the first to defend the Universal Championship in a Hell in a Cell. Mick says that he needs both men for the Survivor Series match on team Raw. Mick would say that he also needs a another guy “the guy.” Hit Roman’s Music!

Roman, Jericho and Owens would exchange a few words leading to Jericho challenging Roman for the Unites States Champion claiming that even though he’s Canadian, he would make a better US champion. Roman accepts and Mick Foley creates the Match for later.

Battle Royal For A Spot on the Raw Survivor Series Team
(Varies Talents)

Braun got the most attention in this match and it’s understandable. Braun gets thrown out between the middle ropes. Sheamus and Cesaro would work together to eliminate a few competitors until Sheamus tries to trick Cesaro and gets thrown out instead. Strowman would eliminate Cesaro leaving Braun, Neville and Sami the last 3 competitors. Braun tosses out Neville and remains with Sami Zayn in the ring. Sami would almost eliinate Braun but get over powered and thrown out.

Winner: Braun Strowman added to Team Raw

The Raw team so far consists of Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns & Braun Strowman.

Backstage: New Day are backstage and mention that they are the captains of the Raw Tag Team Elimination match at Survivor Series and mock the Smackdown teams.

Rich Swann, Lince Dorado & Cedric Alexander vs. Drew Gulak Ariya Daviari & Tony Nese
Six Man Tag Team Match

As expected, this is a quick match with a ton of big spots. Swann would pick up the pinfall victory over Tony Nese following a round-house kick to the head.

Winners: Rich Swann, Lince Dorado & Cedric Alexander

Announcers: They recap the altercation from earlier between Rusev and Goldberg, which can be seen above in the highlights. In addition to the Spear Heyman took from Goldberg.

In Ring: The newly crowned WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte makes her way out to the ring being carried on her chariot by four men. Charlotte hypes her win and says Sasha to not feel bad about losing, she’s like every other women in WWE, playing second place. Charlotte says that she will captain team Raw against team Smackdown Live at Survivor Series and warns Nikki that she will put her on the shelf forever.

Charlotte continues to mock the women of Smackdown and says that there is one weak link on the Raw team and that’s Bayley. Bayley comes to the ring and both exchange words creating more tension between them. Charlotte says that Bayley will face another Raw team member tonight and calls out Nia Jax.

Nia Jax vs. Bayley
Singles Match

Charlotte would sit with the announcers during this match. Dana Brooke would come out and join her.

Nia dominated a majority of the match. Bayley had some moments during the match but Nia managed to land a quick Samoan Slam and pinned for the 3 count victory.

Winner: Nia Jax

Cesaro & Sheamus vs. The Shining Stars
Tag Team Match

Sheamus and Cesaro show their strength as a tag team and manage to pick up the win over the Shining Stars. Sheamus locks in the cloverleaf on Epico and Cesaro stops an attack from Primo allowing Epico to tag out.

Winners: Sheamus & Cesaro

BACKSTAGE: R-Truth and Goldust have a backstage segment featuring them in a haunted house for Halloween. Team Golden Truth experience fear together, it was interesting.

ANNOUNCERS: They replay the Roman, Jericho segment from earlier.

BACKSTAGE: Jericho is backstage listing his accomplishments in the WWE. Owens walks in and Jericho says that he will for the first time win the United States Championship from Roman Reigns. They joke to call it the Canadian Title and agree to work together. They head to the ring.

Chris Jericho (w/ Kevin Owens) vs. Roman Reigns (c)
-WWE United States Championship-
Singles Match

A good overall main event with Owens trying to interfere throughout the match behind the refs back. But in the end Roman looked like he was going to pick up the win but Owens attacks him causing the DQ win.

Winner: Roman Reigns via DQ (Retains)

Both Jericho and Owens double team Roman until Seth Rollins music hits. Rollins takes out both Jericho and KO. Owens manages to save Jericho from Rollins and leave together.

Roman and Seth are left in the ring and exchange glares. The fans chant YES as both men stare off at eachother.

Thank you guys so much for reading, let me know what you think of this format and maybe we’ll continue with these QuickCaps for Raw.

If there are no videos up now they will be tomorrow.

Have a good night guys, Happy Suplexing!

Who Is The New WWE Universal Champion? – HUGE RETURN

During tonight’s WWE Raw broadcast, an elimination fatal-4-way match featuring Kevin Owens, Big Cass, Roman Reigns & Seth Rolling was done to determine the new WWE Universal Championship.

During the match Triple H returned to WWE and attacked not only Roman Reigns but Seth Rollins as well assisting Kevin Owens in winning the Universal Championship.

Both celebrated following the match.

Early WWE Raw Preview For August 29, 2016 – Universal Championship

(Partial article & Images sourced from WWE.com)

One week after Finn Bálor was forced to relinquish the WWE Universal Championship due to a shoulder injury at the hands of Seth Rollins at SummerSlam, The Architect will clash with Roman Reigns, Big Cass and Kevin Owens in a Fatal 4-Way Match for the vacant title on Raw. Who will leave Raw with Team Red’s flagship title?

Who will claim the WWE Universal Title?

In the biggest Raw main event of the New Era, Roman Reigns, Big Cass, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens will battle it out for the WWE Universal Championship, which was vacated by the injured Finn Bálor this past Monday night. Although analysts might give an edge to Reigns or Rollins, both of whom have held the WWE World Championship in the past, you can’t discount Big Cass, who has more than proven he can hang in Team Red’s main event scene in recent weeks. As for Owens, we have to imagine that his pal Chris Jericho will “have his back” during this bout. After all, Jericho is “The Best in the World at What He Does,” and that includes bending the rules.

Regardless, there will be a new WWE Universal Champion Monday night, and you won’t want to miss any of the action in this explosive four-man melee.

What team will Gallows & Anderson target next?

Is Bayley poised to wrap her arms around the WWE Women’s Championship?

Can Braun Strowman be stopped?
