As reported, WWE talent Rusev was out recovering from a shoulder surgery he underwent to correct a nagging problem last month. Since his departure Rusev was moved to Smackdown Live along with his real-life wife Lana.

Rusev released a video two weeks ago claiming that the only way he would return to WWE TV would be if Shane McMahon gave him a WWE Championship opportunity. That obviously didn’t pan through, so Rusev released the following video announcing that he will be making a WWE TV return next week on Smackdown Live.

Finn Balor Talks About His WWE Raw Return

Finn Balor was interviewed by ESPN and spoke about returning on Raw after suffering a shoulder injury.

Here’s what he had to say:

“I don’t think you ever know,” said Balor. “It’s one of those things that I won’t know when I’m ready until I’m actually in the ring and doing it in front of people live. You can kind of run drills and practice, rehab behind closed doors as much as you can, but there’s nothing that simulates being in front of a live audience with live TV cameras. The injury was very fitting on my career … like it was meant to be. It gave me something to overcome again,” Balor said on Tuesday morning. “There was always an obstacle in the way, this was just another one. The challenge has been as much mental as it was physical. I feel now like I’ve come back not only physically stronger, but mentally as well.”

Emma Makes Her In-Ring Return During Raw

As we all say, Emmalina never really worked out for Emma as she debut under that character for literally one night, and told people she would be transforming back to Emma. Well at least this time we didn’t have to wait long as Emma made her return to WWE TV last night on Raw during a six-women tag team match.

Top Star Makes Return To WWE TV During Raw

Finn Balor made his return to WWE tonight on Raw when he was revealed to be the surprise partner for Seth Rollins to take on Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe, after Chris Jericho was taken out of the match.

As you can recall Finn Balor has been out of action since August of 2016 after suffering a shoulder injury at Summerslam following a powerbomb onto the ringside barricade by Seth Rollins. Balor at that time had to relinquish the newly formed Universal Championship.

Jim Ross Negotiating For Full Time WWE Gig

Source: Wrestling Observer

Dave Meltzer is reporting that Jim Ross is in negotiations with WWE for a full-time return to WWE. Meltzer doesn’t believe that Ross will be apart of weekly Raw or Smackdown shows, but could return for PPV’s or perhaps just the big four PPV’s.

Meltzer also believes that Ross’ deal with the WWE comes by way of the company not wanting Ross to be involved with the World of Sports project in the UK. WWE current deal with Ross should not impact his role broadcasting NJPW on AXS TV.
