MOC Live Raw Recap

I probably won’t do any match details as I’m just so tired for some reason… wow, this is going to be an interesting night. LOL

VIDEO: Raw kicks off with a video recap from last week’s Raw, with the closing segment featuring Mick Foley, Stephanie McMahon Triple H and Seth Rollins.

OPENER: Raw kicks off with Mick Foley making his entrance to the ring. Mick gets on the mic and gets greeted with a loud Foley chant. He pulls a letter out and begins reading it saying that he’s humbled and been honored to call himself the GM or Raw for the last 9 months. He thanks Triple H and Stephanie McMahon for giving him the opportunity. He continues reading saying how he put that opportunity in jeopardy when he put Mr.Socko in Triple H’s mouth, and apologizes for it. He continues saying that he doesn’t want his action distracting people from Wrestlemania. For the good or WWE, Raw and WrestleMania, Mick Foley announces that he will take a leave of absence effective immediately.

Accidentally gets naked photo of Brad Maddox

He shows the index cards to the audience and rips them up. He says that he would say whatever he wants to say and tries to put down Triple H and Stephanie, but his mic keeps cutting in and out. Stephanie McMahon’s music hits and she comes out.

Stephanie gets in the ring and mocks Mick’s mic not working. She reminds him of his actions last week and gave him a golden opportunity to give a proper farewell address. The reason he need index cards is because she claims, Mick forgets everything. Him returning to WWE was always about him wanting to be liked by the WWE audience, and doesn’t care about what’s best for business.  Stephanie says she’ll do what’s best for business and fires Mick Foley right in the middle of the ring.

Mick doesn’t say anything and begins walking out, but gets stopped by Sami Zayn who’s entrance music hits. Sami gets on the mic and says that what Stephanie is doing to Mick is wrong, just like all of her decisions as of late. Stephanie thanks him and asks him to help his broken down mentor to the back. Foley asks Sami to just walk away. Foley gets off the apron and begins limping up the ramp. Sami doesn’t follow and says that Foley has shown more class and integrity in the 9 months on Raw, than Stephanie has in her whole life. Sami says Stephanie should be ashamed of herself. Stephanie mocks Sami and says he’s not on the level to come out and questions Stephanie’s integrity, or even speak to Stephanie at all and asks him to go to the back and think about how to make it up to her.

Saddened to hear he won’t get much from his tax return

Sami appears to walk out, but stops and says that he doesn’t want to do the smart thing, but the right thing. He was about to threaten her, but Samoa Joe’s music hits and he makes his way out. As Joe walks to the ring, Stephanie stops him and says she got it. She asks for Foley to leave and makes a match pinning Sami Zayn against Samoa Joe.

Even before the match could behind Sami runs from the ring and lands on Joe on the outside leading us into commercials.

Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe
Singles Match

Both men deliver an intense and aggressive start to the match with Samoa Joe holding a majority of the offence. Sami would get some offence near the ending of the match and even bust Joe open mildly after he gets thrown into the ring post. Joe would eventually lock in the Coquina Clutch and Zayn would have no choice but to tap out.

Winner: Samoa Joe

ANNOUNCERS: They announce that throughout the night they will show highlights of the ever growing feud between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. They show one from the Royal Rumble.

We also will get an update on Rollins condition following the attack from Triple H last week.

Triple H… never found his shirt.

BACKSTAGE: Mick Foley talking to Sami Zayn and saying how he appreciates what Sami did out there. Sami says that Raw needs Mick. Mick says that Raw needs Sami not him. He hugs him and says to hold the fort down. Sami thanks him and appreciates meeting him.

Mick walks and runs into Cesaro and Sheamus who both hug him. They thank him for giving them a chance. Foley is proud of them and continues to walk. He meets some 205 live talents in the back and shakes their hands. He would eventually run into Bayley and gives her a big hug. Triple H would meet him as well, and just say “have a nice day!”

Mick Foley walks out and leaves the Raw arena.

ANNOUNCERS: They recap last week when Seth Rollins returned to Raw and confronted Triple H.

The reveal that Rollins is back in Birmingham, AL doing rehab on his knee.

They interview Kevin Wilk, who is helping Seth in his rehabilitation. He says Rollins is progressing well and has come a long way, but he did re-aggravate the injury last week. He claims that Rollins will need several months to be cleared to compete. But Rollins is very motivated to compete and if he does compete, they’ll probably be seeing him the next day with more rehabilitation.

I’m a doctor…

Charlotte vs. Dana Brooke
Singles match

Dana would go on the attack right away and to my surprise would control the majority of the match. The ending would come quickly as Charlotte hits a big boot and pins Dana for the win.

Winner: Charlotte

BACKSTAGE: Stephanie McMahon is walking backstage and runs in Bayley who looks sad. Stephanie offers a hug to make her feel better. Bayley says she doesn’t need one and says that she once look up to Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie stops her and says that it takes a strong women to run a brand, and it takes a strong women to be champion, which Bayley isn’t showing as of late. Stephanie makes a rematch from last week against Nia Jax and says that if Nia wins, she gets added to the WrestleMania Women’s Championship match making it a fatal-4-way.

Bayley, your hairs not even..

HIGHLIGHT REEL: Jericho comes out to a great ovation and begins by saying that the Brooklyn audience is loud tonight. He says that his guest tonight is the “real” Kevin Owens. He says that he doesn’t need Owens as he has a lot of friends and calls the audience “friends of Jericho”… “Cheer me onnnnn maaaannnnnn!”

I have friends!

Jericho continues saying that Owens isn’t a hit-man, and shows an image of a 16 year old Owens with a Y2J shirt. Jericho says that Owens doesn’t look like a prize fighter, and says that he was marking out man! Jericho now goes to 2014 when Owens was signed to the WWE and reached out to his idol, Chris Jericho. He shows a DM on Twitter when Owens asked him for advise.

Jericho would continue saying that Owens is always nervous, intimidates and kind of scared, of Jericho. Jericho calls himself the hero and idol for Owens and when they meet up at WrestleMania, Owens will transfer back to the 16 year old nerd wearing a Y2J shirt realizing what Owens has gotten himself into. Jericho hypes himself up as the Greatest of all time and says that at WrestleMania he will make Owens hurt more, than costing him the Universal Championship as Fastlane. Jericho would then tease about adding Kevin Owens to the List of Jericho, but wouldn’t be able to as Samoa Joe begins walking out.

Look at those… letters…

Jericho gets distracted allowing Kevin Owens to come from behind and attack Jericho in the ring. Owens would hit the pop-up powerbomb on Jericho and proceed to rip up the famous list of Jericho. Owens would walk out leaving Jericho laying in the ring.

TJ Perkins vs. Brian Kendrick
Singles Match

Match didn’t last too long. TJ would take the attack quickly, but a quick distraction allows Brian to hit his Sliced Bread #2 and pin for the 2 count.

Winner: Brian Kendrick

After the match Brian would get on the mic asking for Akira Tozawa. Brian would say that he’s a sitting duck, but Akira isn’t even in the country. He would then pull out Akira’s passport saying that he needs it to travel back to the USA. He teaches him another lesson to not leave stuff laying around backstage.

I have your passport!

Personally, I would think you would need a passport to leave the country as well… so ya.

ANNOUNCERS: They recap HBK’s appearance last week warning Roman Reigns. Here’s a reminder:

ANNOUNCERS: They recap the growing feud between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg. leading to WrestleMania 33.

BACKSTAGE: Sheamus and Cesaro are talking backstage as Stephanie comes walking in saying that two men who once hated eachother are great friends. Stephanie says that Cesaro & Sheamus need to battle for their Wrestlemania spots again competing in a 4 on 2 Handicap match against Luke Gallows, Karl Anderon, Enzo and Cass. If they lose, they lose their WM spot.

Bayley (c) vs. Nia Jax
-If Nia Jax Wins She Gets Entered Into The Women’s Title Match at WrestleMania 33-
Non-Title No DQ Singles match

Nia would bring the attack early on with Bayley getting in minor offence where ever she can. But the momentum would shift once Nia smashes Bayley face-first against the ring apron. Both Charlotte & Sasha would watch from the backstage area.

Nia would generally hold the momentum in this match smashing Bayley against the barricade over and over again by the hair. Nia would grab a chair but Bayley would kick it away. Both would go back and forth a bit more, with Nia hitting the Samoan Drop and getting the 3 count win.

Winner: Nia Jax (enters the Raw Women’s Match at WrestleMania 33)

ANNOUNCERS: They remember Mae Young in celebration of March being Women’s History month. They run a video package of her amazing career.

IN RING: Michael Cole is in the ring, and introduces Triple H as being the man who made Seth Rollins WrestleMania status questionable.

Both men take a seat in the seats provided. Michael Cole asks about the news about the diagnosis of Seth Rollins heard earlier tonight. Triple H says he’s disappointing and says he wanted this match with Rollins at WrestleMania. He considered himself in the best shape in his life and that he was looking forward to it. He claims that it’s not his fault Rollins is injured, it’s Rollins fault for listening to the audience themselves. He continues saying that people like Rollins need the audience to justify that he’s good. Triple H says he never needed that, though some guys in the back need to audience to justify that they are good. Triple H says that Foley’s potato chip ear, his wobble was all done because of the audience.

Your fault

He recaps when Rollins threw his crutch on the floor last week during Raw and the audience went crazy for it, another example when the audience’s cheering cost a talent his health. They show a video recap from the attack last week.

After the video, Triple H tells the audience “that’s on you, it’s your fault.” Cole goes back about a year when Triple H took Rollins under his wing. Triple H said that he saw potential in Rollins and gave him the blueprint to make it in the business. But when no one was there to pick up Rollins when he was down, Rollins cried. Triple H was the crutch that took Rollins to the top of the mountain. He find it funny how the crutch [Triple H] actually picked up a physical crutch and beat him up with it. Triple H says that he is officially done with Seth Rollins. Triple H pulls out an envelope and hands it to Cole saying that it’s a few tickets for the nose-bleeds so Rollins can feel the roar of the crowd.

Triple H looks like he would leave but then questions it. He asks for the envelope back and says that there may be a way he could fight Rollins at WrestleMania. Triple H says that he could draw up a non-sanctioned match at Wrestlemania so when Triple H leaves him hopeless, he couldn’t sue the WWE or Triple H’s family. Triple H asks the audience if that’s what they want, and tells Seth to show them that he is in deed Seth “freaking” Rollins, or just a freaking coward.

Cesaro & Sheamus vs. Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson (c) & Big Cass/ Enzo
-If Sheamus & Cesaro lose, they lose their spot at Wrestlemania 33-
Handicap Tag Team Match

Enzo and Cass would deliver their promo agreeing that they would try and cost Sheamus and Cesaro their match at WrestleMania 33. Before the match could begin, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows would take out their partners, Enzo and Cass. The match would start and Sheamus and Cesaro would take advantage quickly and take out Karl Anderson after Cass attacks Gallows on the apron picking up the pinfall victory.

Winners: Sheamus & Cesaro (remain in WrestleMania 33)

After the match Enzo hits the Badda-Boom-Shakka-Lakka on Karl in the ring.

BACKSTAGE: New Day are in the back to deliver a hype promo about their hosting spot at WrestleMania 33. Before the promo begins Big E and Kofi look at Xavier with Big E saying “So is there something you want to tell us?” Xavier would begin saying that he’s looking forward to Roman Reigns & Undertaker. They begin listing all the matches for the big event and end it with a “New Day Rocks” chant.

Austin Aries vs. Tony Nese
Singles Match

These two put on a great quick paced match with the momentum split between the two. The win would come when Aries hits a missile dropkick and delivers it up with a running forearm smash and a discus forearm.

Winner: Austin Aries

After the match Neville comes out to the stage area and threatens that he could come to the ring and obliterate Aries just as he’s done to the rest of the Cruiserweight division. But Neville says that Aries is no threat to the King, and that Aries out of control ego will make Neville’s win at WrestleMania that much more satisfying. Aries says that everyone hears the words coming out of his mouth, but what Aries sees in Neville’s eyes is the fear of stepping in the ring with Aries who is above Neville’s level.

VIDEO: Another Emma video package with… you guessed it a “coming soon” HA!

ANNOUNCERS: Goldberg and Brock Lesnar will be live on Raw next week as the go-home show for Wrestlemania 33.

BACKSTAGE: Braun is interviewed backstage and pretty much just says that he’ll destroy Roman Reigns tonight.

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman
Singles Match

As the match begins, Roman Reigns goes on the attack quickly throwing several punches. Braun tries to fight him off but Roman keeps coming back and takes Braun to the outside. Roman tries for the drive-by, but Braun stops by a massive clothesline. Reigns gets to his feet but Braun hits a spinebuster picking up a 2 count. Braun goes on the attack and throws Roman chest first into the corner turnbuckle.

Braun would lock in a choke, but Roman fights out and manages to land a few clotheslines. He tries for a Samoan drop but Brauns size is too much as he lays him out with a running clothesline. Braun tries for a running spear in the corner but Roman moves out of the way taking Braun into the post. Roman would get the momentum behind him and manage to pick up Braun slowly and hitting the Samoan drop. Braun rolls to the outside and Roman hits the drive-by. Roman tries to continue to attack but Braun throws him against the steps. He throws one layer of the steps in the ring and tosses Reigns back in.

Braun picks up the steps but Reigns stops him with the superman punch. He tries for another but Braun catches him. He tries for the powerslam, but Roman breaks out. He hits another superman punch and sets up for the spear. But as he calls for it, the gong goes off, and the lights go black. When they come back on, The Undertaker is standing in the middle of the ring between Reigns and Braun.

Undertaker stands starring as an “Undertaker” chant begins. Braun tries to go for Taker, but he catches him and hits a choke slam. As Taker turns around Roman hits him with a quick spear.

Winner: No Contest

Roman would leave the ring and begin walking up the ramp, as in the ring Undertaker sits up and gets up on his feet. Taker slices his throat and the gong goes off again.

We end Raw with a stare down between the two men.

Let the recapping begin!

OPENER: Raw kicks off with the entrance of Goldberg, which literally takes a good few minutes.

Goldberg gets on the mic thanking Green Bay for the great ovation. He comments on last week’s Kevin Owens opening segment where he had the spotlight on him and talked.

Image result for kevin owens spotlight
It’sa me!

Goldberg says that he’s not here to talk, and that he’s 6 days away from becoming the Universal Champion at Fastlane, via a spear, jackhammer,& 1..2..3. He says he would take the title to WrestleMania against Brock Lesnar. Goldberg says he always delivers on his promises and promises to take out Owens. Kevin Owens would make an appearance on stage, in his dark suit.

Owens says that he also made himself a promise, he would grab WWE by the throat and make them see what Kevin Owens is all about. He says that he’s done that, and that on his first night in WWE, he beat John Cena. He continues saying how he beat Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, and says that Jericho doesn’t matter, but everyone remembers what he did to him. Owens says that no matter how many “sheep” [audience] cheer for him, Goldberg will be next in the evolution of Kevin Owens as Universal Champion.

Goldberg applauds Owens and comments on his “moving speech” which he claims all it did was piss Goldberg off. So Goldberg offers to fight Owens now. Owens begins hyping the audience for a match, but stops himself after he asked for a Green Bay Street Fight and realized that Green Bay didn’t deserve to watch him compete. Owens says that at Fastlane, the “Goldberg Chants Die.”

ANNOUNCERS: Seth Rollins gets interviewed later about his WrestleMania status. New Day are backstage preparing for the segment next.

ENTRANCE: New Day make their way out while the announcers hype the New Day as the WrestleMania 33 hosts. As New Day reach ringside their music dies and they begin to converse with the audience. They claim to have a lot on their plates as they will be the WrestleMania 33 hosts. They don’t want others to worry as New Day will always deliver to the audience, and claim that they know the audience want more, and tell the audience that they want… “The Ice cream.”

They get into the ring and say that before they can share their ice cream, they need to take the shine out of the Shining Stars. Big E quickly said afterwards “I was told to say that.” The Shining stars make their entrance. A ring attendant hands the New Day an envelope and mock the Academy Awards where the best picture was mistaken as the card read was wrong. New Day say that Shining Stars have a match with Big Show later. They open the envelope and reveal that they are actually facing Rusev and Jinder Mahal.

Rusev and Jinder make their way out.

New Day (w/ Kofi Kingston) vs. Jinder Mahal & Rusev (w/ Lana)
Tag Team Match

New Day take the advantage early one leading into the first commercial break, but when we return Rusev and Jinder have the upperhand. Rusev manages to knee Xavier Woods a few times in the mid section and tags in Jinder. Both Rusev and Jinder wear down on Xavier, blocking a few tag attempts. But Xavier fights back and manages to tag in Big E for the hot tag. Big E comes in with the momentum and lands three belly-to-belly’s on Jinder Mahal. He hits the splash and tries for his Big Ending. He takes out Rusev on the apron and tries for the Big Ending, but Mahal pushes him away. Xavier blind tags Big E and hits a cross body on Jinder picking up a 2 count. Rusev breaks up the hold. On the outside, Kofi and Lana begin to argue on the outside distracting Rusev. In the ring, Mahal gets a surprise roll-up and Xavier picks up the 3 count win.

Winners: New Day

Following the match Rusev and Jinder argue in the ring.

MOC: Just to note, during this match the announcers were calling Jinder Mahal, Hardbody Mahal;and Rusev, handsome Rusev… It was horrible, what is happening?

ANNOUNCERS: They will reveal the latest inductee into the Hall of Fame later on tonight on Raw, and hype the Fastlane PPV. They highlight the Raw Tag Titles and how Enzo and Cass will face The Club at Fastlane for the titles.

BACKSTAGE: Enzo and Cass are backstage talking about… buckles… yup. Enzo talks about new merchandise once they win the Raw tag titles and says he will never take off the title. Cass stops him and says that Anderson and Gallows have won tag titles around, whereas Enzo and Cass has never won one. Cass says that this Sunday it’ll be different and that they need to focus. Today they need to focus on Cass’ match against Gallows tonight.

BACKSTAGE: Cesaro and Sheamus are talking backstage as Samoa Joe walks in. He and Cesaro go back and forth with their “indie” history. Samoa Joe jokes about how Cesaro is still reaching for the brass ring. Cesaro claims that at least he’s not carrying Triple H’s jockstrap.

BACKSTAGE: We now get focused on Stephanie in her office. Mick walks in and Stephanie begins explaining and reminding Mick about his career and how he got his ear ripped off, how he was fearless and powerful and that’s the Mick Foley she wanted, but didn’t get. Stephanie says that to this night, Triple H ended Mick’s career. She calls him weak and she says that Foley gets more feeble and more pathetic with each passing day. Stephanie apologizes for putting Mick in the GM role and put so much pressure on a man who can’t even stand at all.

VIDEO: There was a video promo from Brian Kendrick about how Tozawa was taught a lesson. He shows some videos of when Kendrick did a cheap shot a few weeks back, and how he got a count-out victory last week on 205 Live where he tied his leg to the ring.

ANNOUNCERS: Rich Swann & Akira Tozawa vs. Brian Kendrick & Noam Dar was announced for the Fastlane Kickoff Show this Sunday.

Akira Tozawa vs. Noam Dar (w/ Alicia Fox)
Singles Match

Akira holds a majority of the assault on Dar, that is until Fox makes a distraction and Dar gets a cheap shot and begins to take advantage of Tozawa. Tozawa manages to fight back and takes Dar out of the ring. Akira runs and hits a suicide dive on Dar. He tries for a body splash, but Noam Dar coutners. Both counters a few strikes and kicks, but Tozawa gets his quick German Suplex and pins for the 3 count.

Winner: Akira Tozawa

After the match, Brian Kendrick would run in and attack Tozawa from behind. He lays him out landing a hard kick to his head. Brian would get on the mic and say that he just taught Akira another lesson, and hopes he’s learning.

BACKSTAGE: Mick Foley is standing lonesome, until Samoa Joe walks in asking if Mick’s ok. Mick says he not, and ends up calling Joe a puppet for changing his ways and siding with Triple H. Joe resents the puppet comment, but Mick doesn’t care and makes a match tonight pinning Samoa Joe vs. Cesaro.

ENTRANCE: Charlotte comes out with Dana White and before Bayley & Sasha comes out, Charlotte gets on the mic saying that Bayley took the easy way out. She calls her “normal” comparing her to the audience and say that Bayley is destined to be the “one-hit wonder.” Charlotte would continue, but Bayley interrupted her.

Bayley gets on the mic and comments that she’s beaten Charlotte three times and says that her WWE journey doesn’t end here. She now has another dream and points to the WrestleMania sign. Bayley says she wants to walk into WrestleMania as the Raw Women’s Champion. Charlotte says that at Fastlane she will buy Bayley’s father a front row seat to watch as she breaks her dreams. Sasha Banks makes an entrance.

Sasha Banks comes in and says that Bayley is more deserving of the title than Charlotte ever was. Charlotte says that Sasha is always taking Bayley’s spotlight. Sasha then says that they have a tag match. Charlotte says that they do, but Dana isn’t her partner, and calls out Nia Jax.

Charlotte & Nia Jax (w/ Dana Brooke) vs. Sasha Banks & Bayley (c)
Tag Team Match

Sasha Banks and Nia kick things off. Without hesitation, Nia throws Sasha to the corner easily. Sasha tries to fight back, but Nia again utilizes her size to dominate her. She throws her to the corner and tells Sasha to tag in Bayley. Nia takes her out with a hard scoop slam and mocks Bayley. Bayley manages to get in some offence and tags in Sasha Banks, but both don’t really do much as Nia clotheslines one of them and elbows the other.

Charlotte tags in beats on Bayley for a bit, but Bayley manages to tag out and gets Sasha in. Sasha gets in some offence and hits a hurricanrana and a dropkick giving her a two count pin. Sasha tags in Bayley and Dana tries to interrupt grabbing Bayley’s leg, but Bayley stops her and throws Charlotte close to Dana on the outside. Bayley climbs out and delivers her Bayley-to-Belly to Dana on the outside mats. We cut to commercials.

When we return from commercials Charlotte and Nia dominate over Sasha Banks. Sasha tries to fight back but Nia isn’t allowing it landing a knee to the gut and hits two elbow drops. The pins for the 2 count.

The announcers update us saying that Dana Brooke was helped to the back during the commercials where she may be suffering from a broken rip.

Nia and Charlotte continue to double team Sasha, but one quick escape allows Sasha to tag in Bayley. Bayley lands a few clotheslines and few elbows to Charlotte. She hits a shoulder to the gut and a saito suplex for a 2 count. Charlotte fights back and tags in Nia. Bayley manages to lock in a chin lock, but Nia throws her off. Bayley runs Charlotte off the apron but turns in a hard body slam from Nia. Sasha tries for a cross body but Nia catches her and throws her on Bayley. Nia hits a leg drop and pins Bayley for the 3 count.

Winners: Charlotte & Nia Jax

BACKSTAGE: Mick Foley is talking to Braun telling him that he can’t give him competition tonight. Braun says he doesn’t want competition, he wants a contract. He wants a contract for his match at Fastlane so this way Roman can’t run. Mick says he’ll have a contract for them to sign.

Because as we all know, when you have a match which is promoted and advertised of course you didn’t sign a contract for that.

Luke Gallows (c) (w/ Karl Anderson (c)) vs. Big Cass (w/ Enzo Amore)
Singles Match

As expected Enzo and Cass deliver their usual promo entrance.

As the match begun, Anderson distracts Cass allowing Gallows to begin landing a few kicks. He takes Cass in the corner and hits a cross body, followed by a running elbow. Gallows picks up a two count. Cass would eventually come back and tries for a chokeslam, but Gallows breaks out and hits a hard kick to the head. Luke Gallows goes for the running clothesline, but Cass catches him, lands a punches and a running clothesline. He hits a hard clothesline in the corner and hits a fall-a-away slam to Gallows. He hits a side walk slam and hits the empire elbow. Anderson again tries for a distraction and tries to drive Enzo into the steps, but Enzo counters and throws Anderson instead. Gallows tries for a running move but Cass ducks and hits a big boot. Cass pins for the 3 count win.

Winners: Big Cass & Enzo

ANNOUNCERS: They hype the WWE Network and mention that if people subscribe this Thursday or after, people would get Fastlane and Wrestlemania for one month.

BACKSTAGE: This is the reasoning for this upcoming match:

Titus O’Neil vs. Sheamus
Singles Match

Even before the match could begin Titus attacks Sheamus as he as entering the ring during his entrance. Titus brings Sheamus into the ring, and the ref pushes Titus back and asks if they want the match to continue. The ref gets a yes from both men and the ref starts the match.

Titus again quickly goes on the attack, appearing very aggressive. The ref would push him back and when Titus turns around, Sheamus hits a hard brogue kick and pins for the 3 count.

Winner: Sheamus

ANNOUNCERS: Seth Rollins interview will be next. Corey Graves will be in the ring to interview Rollins about his status leading into Wrestlemania 33.

Corey Graves is standing in the ring. They darkened the mat and added two chairs in the center of the table.

Before Corey introduces Rollins, Corey Graves sends us into a video package showcasing the history behind Triple H and Seth Rollins, leading them to this time.

Following the video, Corey Graves introduces Seth Rollins, who comes out using one crutch and struggles to enter the ring. Rollins sits down in the provided chair and Graves asks the question, hows the knee? Rollins says that the tear to his MCL is more serious than thought, and that rehab is coming along. Graves asks bout where Rollins is at right now. Rollins says that it sucks and says that maybe he deserves to be injured. Corey questions that. Rollins references two years ago when he won the WWE Championship and calls it the greatest moment of his life. He’s asked himself “what did I sacrifice for that” and says he pointed fingers and blamed others.

When he came back from the original knee injury, he was suppose to come back better and different and says that he lost site of that. He says that he believes the injury is his fault. Graves then asks about WrestleMania and if Rollins will be there. Rollins takes a while to answer and says that right now it’s not looking great, and that the doctors may not clear him in time for WrestleMania. Right then, Triple H’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring, smiling.

Triple H says that it’s good to see him, considering the last time he saw him, he didn’t think they would see him again. Rollins looks to attack but Triple H points to the other end where Samoa Joe came out to stand at ringside. Two Reasons Why Roman Reigns Was Added To The Royal Rumble Match

Dave Meltzer for Wrestling Observer Radio said there were two reasons why WWE had decided to add Roman Reigns as the final entrant into the 2017 Royal Rumble

  1. The first was because WWE wanted to begin the angle for Undertaker and Roman Reigns leading to WrestleMania 33. This is the reason why Roman eliminated Taker and had the stare down.
  2. The second reason was because WWE wanted Randy Orton to receive a massive reaction from the audience once he eliminated Roman Reigns. It was well anticipated that the audience wouldn’t be happy with Roman’s entrance and thus if Randy eliminated him, he would get a huge ovation despite being a heel.

Rusev calls Big E and Big Cass, Big Goofs. He questions why they use the word “Big” in front of their names. He says it’s obvious their big bug claims that it makes no sense and Rusev could easily put Handsome in front of his name cause he’s handsome. Rusev continues saying that he is entering the Royal Rumble match. But guess what, Titus O’Neil interrupts him and also comes out to the ring.

Big E stops Titus from delivering a promo and say that Titus promised to never bother them again. Xavier says that Titus is disrespectful and says to “catch him outside.” Titus is confused by the comment and says that there’s no need to go outside and says that there is an 8 man tag set up already. Titus confused says that New Day, Cass and Enzo [5 guys] would face his team of 4, consisting of Rusev, Jinder, Titus and their special partner, Braun Strowman.

Nia Jax vs. Ray Lyn

I can’t promise that’s the way you spell Ray Lyn, but her name wasn’t shown. But it doesn’t matter as the match only lasted as long as I wrote that first sentence. Seriously just destroyed and crushed her.

Dar says “no hard feelings for stealing your girlfriend.” Cedric says that when it comes to her [Fox] their good, but Dar still attacked him so therefore Cedric pushes him to end the segment.

MAIN EVENT: Goldberg makes his way out to the ring, and looks to be bleeding slightly from the forehead as he bangs his head against the door when ever he makes his entrance. Goldberg starts his promo but gets stopped by a Goldberg chant.

Goldberg kind of is messing up his words when he’s promoting the Royal Rumble, I honestly think he needs to stop hitting his head that hard against the door. Anyways, Goldberg promotes the Royal Rumble and says that he will stop at nothing to obtain the WWE Universal Championship. Goldberg was about to warn the 29 other men in the back, when all of a sudden Heyman makes his way out.

Heyman does his introduction and deliveres a promo claiming that the Royal Rumble has many dream scenarios such as, Goldberg vs. Randy Orton, Goldberg vs. Braun Strowman, Goldberg vs. One of the many surprises WWE pulls out, and even Goldberg vs. The Undertaker. But as we all know, Heyman comes out listing Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar, and calls him out. Lesnar is at Raw bitches!

Lesnar comes out and glares at Goldberg in the ring, upset over the embarrassing Survivor Series loss a few months back. Heyman claims that this Sunday Goldberg will be beaten, victimizes, emasculated, humiliated and conquered only to then be thrown over the top rope by Brock Les… Goldberg stopped him from finishing that and called out Lesnar to the ring.

Lesnar not taking that likely begins walking to the ring and begins circling the ring as a hunter.Brock climbs the apron and steps inside the ring. But just as soon as we think they would fight, the light goes out and the gong tolls!

As the lights come back on ,The Undertaker is seen standing in the ring with both Goldberg and Brock Lesnar, this ends Raw tonight.

What are your thoughts, did this excite you for the Royal Rumble?
